St Charles Avenue is not exactly known for it’s subtlety. Lined with southern live oaks and historic mansions, this main thoroughfare does not joke around when it comes to the holidays. Living on St Charles provides an opportunity for residents to be a little ostentatious, something they don’t shy away from (I mean who are we kidding, this is New Orleans). Over the last few weeks it has started to look like Santa’s sleigh exploded with christmas lights all over Uptown, and it’s freaking beautiful. Merry Christmas to us all!
